Ana Sofía Payán

Ana Sofía is an Associate in the Insolvency & Restructuring practice area, she focuses her practice on advising clients on matters of commercial law, insolvency, bankruptcy and corporate governance. She has experience in debt and equity rescheduling and refinancing, restructuring and reorganization strategies, rescue planning and implementation, restructuring of structured and leveraged financial vehicles, bankruptcy procedures and the conduct and regulation of office holders, debt monitoring and recovery, and assets investigation, litigation and enforcement related to insolvency and bankruptcy.

Before joining DLA Piper Martínez Beltrán, Ana Sofía worked as a lawyer at the Colombian Stock Exchange, where she was responsible for Corporate Governance.
