Andrés is a partner in the Tax and Estate Planning practice area.
He advises clients on national and international tax law, tax and estate planning, tax structuring, litigation and tax incentives at local and cross-border level. Additionally, he has extensive experience in the development of tax efficient structures for highly complex and high profile M&A transactions in Colombia and abroad.
He was a partner of one of the most prestigious law firms specialized in tax matters in the country. On the other hand, between 2010 and 2011, he worked at PwC Luxembourg in the international tax structures area.
He is currently the leading professor of international tax law in the Master's program in taxation at Universidad de los Andes. He is also the President of the International Fiscal Association (IFA) Colombia chapter.
