Juan Camilo is a lawyer graduated from Universidad del Rosario and holds an LL.M degree in Law and Business from Vanderbilt Law School.
He focuses his practice in commercial law, energy law, business collaboration agreements, credit operations and corporate law and has special knowledge in the area of corporate law, mainly in the acquisition, transformation, merger and spin-off of commercial companies and private agreements with creditors.
Currently, Juan Camilo is a professor of Commercial and Corporate Law at Universidad del Rosario.
Before joining DLA Piper Martínez Beltrán, he was a senior associate in the M&A, Corporate and Commercial Law area of a major Colombian law firm.
