Juan Carlos is an associate director in the Tax Law and Tax Litigation practice areas.
He has extensive experience implementing and leading successful tax and litigation strategies, both in administrative and jurisdictional instance, for national and multinational companies from various sectors such as public services, healthcare and pharmaceutical laboratories, retail, hydrocarbons and mining, construction and agro-industrial, among others.
He has been a professor and speaker at various events, courses and business forums, and has been included for several years by the International Tax Review -ITR in the list of the main professionals in tax litigations in Colombia.
Before joining DLA Piper Martínez Beltrán, Juan Carlos worked in the areas of tax consulting and litigation at a major auditing firm and in a recognized international law firm leading the tax and litigation area.
