María Claudia is a partner in the Competition, Data Protection, Compliance and Intellectual Property practice areas.
She has wide experience representing corporations and single individuals before the Competition and Data Protection Authority in administrative investigations and obtaining clearance of different requirements handled by this authority. Additionally, she provides permanent and preventive support to companies on best practices regarding legal compliance.
She began her professional career in 2009 at Martínez Neira Abogados, focusing on corporate matters. She later joined the Superintendency of Industry and Commerce, first as a member of the competition investigation team and then as an advisor to the Superintendent.
María Claudia is a lawyer and economist; therefore, her support goes beyond legal issues. Her goal is to enhance her clients' businesses.
