María Mónica is a senior associate in the Tax Law practice area.
With nearly 10 years of experience, she has advised both national and foreign clients on various matters related to national and international taxation. She has experience leading discussions with the Colombian tax authority (DIAN) on different tax-related issues and in tax planning, particularly related to international investments.
Before joining DLA Piper Martínez Beltrán, María Mónica served as the tax manager in a major energy sector trading company and worked as an associate in a local law firm in the Tax Law area.
