Rodrigo is a senior associate in the Energy & Natural Resources area. He has more than 10 years of experience in the practice of mining, energy, administrative, commercial, civil, and environmental law, as well as in the formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of public policies, plans, programs and projects.
Before joining DLA Piper Martínez Beltrán, Rodrigo worked at the Electric Power Direction of the Ministry of Mines and Energy of Colombia, at the National Agency of Legal Defense of the State, at the General Attorney of the Nation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Sinchi Amazon Institute for Scientific Research as head of the legal area. He has also provided independent legal advice.
