Tomas is senior associate in the Competition, Data Protection, Compliance and Intellectual Property practice areas. has extensive experience in administrative procedures in connection to the infringement of the Colombian antitrust regime, as well as in advising local and foreign companies in matters related to consumer protection, personal data and corporate law.
Before joining DLA Piper Martínez Beltrán, he was an advisor to the head of the Colombian Competition Authority in antitrust matters. He was also an associate to the competition, consumer protection and corporate law practices in two leading law firms in Colombia.
Currently, he is a profesor of Competition Law in several Colombian universities.
