Tomás is a senior associate in the Compliance practice area.
He has extensive experience in administrative procedures in connection to the infringement of the Colombian antitrust regime, as well as in advising local and foreign companies in matters related to consumer protection, personal data and corporate law.
Before joining DLA Piper Martínez Beltrán, he was an advisor to the head of the Colombian Competition Authority in antitrust matters. Likewise, he was an associate to the competition, consumer protection and corporate law practices in two leading law firms in Colombia.
Currently, he is a professor of the Competition Law class in several Colombian universities.
