Johanna is a partner in the Oil & Gas practice area.
She has more than 18 years of experience advising in regards to legal and regulatory issues in the hydrocarbons sector, such as natural gas, GLP, liquid fuels, and crude oil. She has had practice regarding the follow-up of exploration and production obligations with the National Hydrocarbons Agency and the Ministry of Mines and Energy. Throughout her career, she has participated in the structuring of important natural gas and GLP commercialization projects, supporting the main international companies with a presence in Colombia, as well as in the regulatory structuring of important natural gas infrastructure projects.
Before joining DLA Piper Martínez Beltrán, Johanna managed the Oil & Gas practice area in an important Law firm with an Ibero-American presence, specializing in hydrocarbons, residential public utilities, energy and natural resources. She also worked in the real sector of natural gas distribution and in the public sector as an advisor to the Superintendent of Public Utilities.
